It started as a celebration of the Porsche Boxster and have evolved into an event for all Porsches, hence the name "Boxstoberfest." The event takes place on the second weekend of September and attracts Porsche enthusiasts from all over the country.
Boxstoberfest features various activities and attractions for attendees. These include scenic drives through the Texas Hill Country, a Gimmick Rally, guided Hill Country Tours, a Winery Tour, and social gatherings. Participants can showcase their Porsche vehicles, meet fellow enthusiasts, and enjoy the beauty of the Fredericksburg area.
The event provides an opportunity for Porsche owners to connect with like-minded individuals, learn more about their vehicles, and experience the camaraderie of the Porsche community. It is a must-attend event for all Porsche enthusiasts!

Welcome to Boxstoberfest 2023 – an exhilarating celebration of Porsche driving and camaraderie! This year's event promises an unforgettable experience for Porsche enthusiasts and driving aficionados. Registration for Boxstoberfest 2023 opens on July 5, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. CDT exclusively through ClubRegistration.net. Act quickly, as attendance is limited to 140 people in the MAIN DRIVE group. However, if you're seeking a more leisurely pace or the thrill of scenic routes and rallying, worry not – we have ample capacity available.
At Boxstoberfest, your safety and enjoyment are paramount. We emphasize that Boxstoberfest is neither a race nor a platform for reckless driving. Our goal is to indulge in spirited drives on public roads while ensuring the safety of all participants, passengers, and the general public. While we relish exciting twists and turns, remember that Rule 1 is NO PASSING. Violating this rule will result in immediate expulsion. Nevertheless, veterans of past events can attest that the winding routes remain both challenging and exhilarating.
All registration and check-in procedures will take place at the iconic Hangar Hotel. Attendance requires pre-registration – walking in without prior registration is not possible. Make sure to complete event registration and settle the registration fee, including any selected event options (such as dinner, lunch, or additional shirts). While the event registration covers the event itself, hotel reservations must be made directly with the chosen hotels; the event registration site does not handle hotel bookings. We have provided several options in the accommodations section.
To join us at Boxstoberfest 2023, a $40 per person registration fee applies. This fee includes a Boxstoberfest T-Shirt and a goodie bag for each registered participant (subject to registration before the shirt cutoff date of August 18,2023). We'll have a limited stock of extra T-shirts available for purchase during the event, so you can take a piece of Boxstoberfest home with you.

The host Hotel is the Hangar Hotel, located at the Gillespie County Airport in Fredericksburg. This is where registration, gathering points, and the assembly of cars on Saturday mornings take place. However, due to capacity limitations, the Hangar Hotel cannot accommodate all attendees. As a result, many participants opt to stay at various hotels scattered across Fredericksburg.
Past participants typically secure their rooms well in advance, often up to a year ahead, leading to the likelihood that rooms at the Hangar Hotel are already fully booked. Nevertheless, a variety of accommodations can be found within Fredericksburg. We've arranged for several hotels to offer special group rates under the code "BOXSTOBERFEST."
